Gilles Villeneuve is revered as one of the most naturally gifted drivers ever to have graced Formula 1.

But just as he was well-known for his flair on track, so too he earned a reputation for having a charming and friendly personality off it.

The next release from our 'The Race Presents' series of classic motorsport films is a special feature made at Monza in 1981 all about the Ferrari icon, including the thoughts of grand prix racing greats on his talents, interviews with those close to him and of course words from Villeneuve himself.
